Job Readiness Programs
The Job Readiness Programs are 4-week, skill-specific programs that focus on training participants for work in targeted sectors of the carpentry trade. Along with skills training, participants will also receive safety certifications required to work in the construction industry.
Program Outline
Week 1: Health and Safety Training
Week 2-3: Skill Specific Training
Week 5-8: Work placement with Union Contractor*
*Only provided to successful participants
Participant Supports
Job Readiness programs are funded and are 100% free to attend. Participants will receive all necessary Personal Protective Equipment and a tool kit. Financial support is available while attending the program.
